About the Hurrah...
My name is Michele Yamamoto (or Shelma to some) and I pretty much run things around these parts. I started this zine sometime in 2005 with big hopes. Naive and young, I soon realized that all things take time and most things can't be done alone. With all of that in mind, I'm in the process of re-organizing the entire endeavor. I hope to use this site as a gallery of sorts for sharing my concert photography exploits, and I hope that this will become more clear once I get the ball rolling. First and foremost, I certainly intend to continue using this zine as a vehicle for sharing music and information with as many people as possible and to motivate others to get out there and find music to love. When possible, I will work to provide interviews and reviews as well as upcoming shows of note. Whether it be for dancing, analyzing or indulging, there is a tremendous musical pool out there just waiting to be waded through. Celebrate and support art.
